Burn Evolved Summary: Burn Evolved contains ingredients that will allow it to control hunger, boost energy, and increase fat burning. It does what it says on the tin.
However, It is hard to give this fat burning supplement a recommendation as it is our opinion there are more effective fat loss supplements available.
Recommended Alternative: Fat burners are more effective if they also stop fat production and reduce hunger. PhenQ does exactly that!
What is Burn Evolved Review
Burn Evolved is a fat-burning supplement manufactured by Sculpt Nation. It’s an updated version of an earlier product called Sculpt Nation Burn.
There isn’t a great deal of difference between the two products. In this case, the evolution appears to be the addition of a little apple cider vinegar powder.
In this review, we’ll take a look at the present formulation and see if it’s potent enough to do the things Sculpt Nation says it will do.
What is Sculpt Nation Burn Evolved?
Burn Evolved is a pill you take twice per day. It’s sold by the bottle and each bottle provides a 30-day supply of pills.
Burn Evolved is primarily designed to function as a fat burner but it boosts energy levels and suppresses appetite too.
Fat burners are supplements you use alongside your diet to help you to burn extra fat. Appetite suppressants, help you stick to your diet by stifling hunger.
When you are dieting, the reduction in calorie intake may cause fatigue so many fat burners contain ingredients that provide energy.
Some products achieve this by providing stimulants. Others provide B vitamins or other energy-providing compounds. It’s not unusual to find supplements that combine caffeine with B vitamins or similar ingredients.
Not Burn Evolved. It relies on caffeine and two additional stimulants to provide the promised energy boost.
There’s nothing wrong with stimulants. They are good for boosting energy and can help you to lose weight.
However, using two or more stimulants together or using them in overly high doses increases the likelihood of jitters, nausea, and similar stimulant-related side effects.
Burn Evolved Benefits – As Advertised
- Suppresses your appetite naturally
- Skyrockets your metabolism, long-term
- Forces your body to produce BAT
- Mobilizes your fat cells and incinerates them
- Boosts your energy levels without causing jitters
- Helps to improve waist-to-hip ratio
How to Use Burn Evolved
The dose is two capsules. You only need one dose per day and it’s best to take it with a meal.
Two capsules, once per day. That’s simple enough but you are likely to get a greater level of support if you go with a product that you can take several times per day. You can’t take this one more than once per day. The way it’s formulated would make it dangerous to do so.
When you take products designed to be taken more than once per day it allows you to keep more of the active ingredients circulating in your blood.
If the ingredients in Burn Evolved aren’t potent enough, you will be pretty much going it alone for most of the day. Take it at breakfast and all the benefits may have worn off by lunchtime or early afternoon.
Two capsules per day will provide:
- Epigallocatechin Gallate (300 mg)
- Apple Cider Vinegar (300 mg)
- Capsimax (100 mg)
- Caffeine (100 mg)
- Paradoxine (30 mg)
- Yohimbine (3 mg)
- Rauwolscine (3mg)
What Do the Ingredients Do?
Several of the ingredients are metabolism boosters so Burn Evolved should help you to burn extra fat if you use it with a diet that is tailored for weight loss.
The formulation also contains some stimulants for energy and, as a whole, it should help suppress appetite but let’s not forget you are unlikely to be getting any of these benefits throughout the day.
Let’s take a look at the ingredients one by one.
Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is a fat-burning antioxidant that’s present in green tea.
Green tea is one of the best and most-studied natural fat burners in the world. It works and 300 mg of green tea is a decent dose.
However, Burn Evolved provides 300 mg of EGCG not 300 mg of green tea. The dose may be too high.
There are concerns that overly high doses of green tea can harm the liver. But which compounds in green tea present this risk? This is a subject that requires further research but taking 300 mg of EGCG may be unwise.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider is often praised for its ability to provide various improvements in health. Some research suggests it may also be good for curbing appetite but most studies use apple cider vinegar, not apple cider vinegar powder. It may not be as potent as the real thing.
Capsimax is a proprietary ingredient that provides red pepper extract in a form that’s gentle on the stomach. It’s a good ingredient. Many of the best fat burners use it.
Red peppers provide capsaicinoids. Research shows these compounds suppress appetite and boost metabolism to help you burn extra fat.
Some research shows capsaicinoids further enhance fat burning by increasing BAT.
BAT (brown adipose tissue) is less prevalent in the body than WAT (white adipose tissue). BAT is a fat-burning fat that can reduce WAT. [source]
Sculpt nation places a lot of focus on Burn Evolved’s potential to increase BAT but that’s a marketing preference. The main thing to know is Capsimax can control your appetite and help you to burn more fat.
Caffeine is one of the most commonly used stimulants in the world. Many people drink coffee or take caffeine pills to fight fatigue and sharpen mental focus.
Research shows caffeine supports fat loss as well. It achieves this by boosting metabolism and thermogenesis. Many studies show this. However, the results of one study suggest caffeine’s value as a fat burner may be more pronounced in thinner people than it is in those who are obese.
Paradoxine is a branded ingredient that provides grains of paradise.
Grains of paradise is (Aframomum melegueta) is a seed extract that’s often used as a cooking spice. Some people say it can support weight loss but there is only a limited amount of evidence to support this claim. Green tea and Capsimax have far greater potential.
This ingredient comes from the bark of a tree. It’s a stimulant that’s often associated with fat burning. Yohimbine is also often used as a treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED). Burn Evolved provides the ingredient in the hydrochloride form.
Although the ingredient has potential in several areas, it can present severe side effects. In North America, yohimbine hydrochloride is classed as a prescription drug.
Rauwolscine is a plant alkaloid. The ingredient requires further research but it’s chemically much like yohimbine and may offer similar benefits and side effects.
Is There a Risk of Side Effects?
Burn Evolved provides 100 mg of caffeine per dose. That’s not an unreasonably high amount. You’d get a similar caffeine fix by drinking a cup of regular coffee. Unless you are hypersensitive to stimulants, that should be okay.
However, Burn Evolved combines caffeine with two additional stimulants (yohimbine + rauwolscine). Even though the doses are low, the presence of three stimulants instead of one could increase the likelihood of negative reactions.
Burn Evolved won’t be a suitable option for women who are pregnant or nursing a child. If you have existing health issues and/or would need to take Burn Evolved alongside medication, we suggest you tread carefully and get a doctor’s approval before using Burn Evolved to support you on your weight loss quest.
Burn Evolved Purchasing Options and Considerations
Burn Evolved appears to be exclusive to the manufacturer’s website.
At the time of this review, Sculpt Nation was charging $49 per bottle. That’s doesn’t make Burn Evolved one of the cheapest fat burners to use but the price is reasonable and, if you buy multiple bottles or purchase using the Sculpt Nation auto-ship program, there are savings to be made.
However, although the price is reasonable, you need to remember Burn Evolved is only likely to give you a few hours of weight-loss support per day. There are some better alternatives that offer a lot more.
Burn Evolved has a lifetime guarantee. However, there seems to be some confusion about the terms and conditions.
The sales page states you will need to use the product daily, for 60 days before claiming via the guarantee. The site’s terms and conditions page says you only need to use it for 30 days.
Either way, though, the offer of a guarantee appears to be honest and above board.
Burn Evolved Customer Feedback
There are no reliable sources of customer feedback. That means there is no way to find out how the formulation has performed for people in the past. The lack of reviews also makes it impossible to know if past users have experienced side effects.
Burn Evolved Review Conclusion
Burn Evolved contains ingredients that will allow it to control hunger, boost energy, and increase fat burning. It does what it says on the tin.
However, many routes can lead to the same destination and this particular formulation has the potential to provide a bumpy ride.
Capsimax is undoubtedly the ingredient that offers the most potential as a fat burner and will be equally valuable for providing hunger control.
However, you don’t need to buy Burn Evolved to get the benefits Capsimax provides. It’s present in most of the best fat-burning supplements.
Although caffeine won’t be acceptable to anyone who prefers to live stimulant-free, it’s a good ingredient too.
As for apple cider vinegar powder, it’s hard to why Sculpt Nation considers its presence such a supplement evolution.
Burn Evolved could be greatly improved by some sensible tweaking. Apple cider vinegar could stay. It doesn’t have the potential to cause harm. However, yohimbine and rauwolscine are unnecessary. Caffeine is good enough to go it alone. Paradoxine lacks credibility too.
As for EGCG, we’d ditch that too and replace it with a standard green tea extract. We’d also consider adding some B vitamins to work alongside caffeine.
The present formulation is somewhat misconceived and the fact that you can only take it once per day means it only offers limited support. Our advice? Forget Burn Evolved and go with one of the top fat burners instead.
