The name says it all. Unaltered Belly Fat Burner is a weight loss pill designed to help people to burn their belly fat and get slim. The manufacturer says the supplement also preserves lean muscle mass.
We are going to begin this review by saying Unaltered Belly Fat Burner is a very simple product. So simple it only has one active ingredient ‒ conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). It’s an oil.
Like similar oil-based supplements, Unaltered Belly Fat Burner comes in the form of a gel-type capsule that encases the CLA to prevent seepage. The capsule is made from gelatin, so Unaltered Belly Fat Burner will not be suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
We’ve already pointed out this is a simple product. Now we would like to let you know it is not unique. Numerous alternative options provide CLA encased in a gelatin shell.
Regardless of the brand, CLA supplements are often favored by bodybuilders, who often use them during cutting cycles. They do so in the belief it will help them to burn fat without losing any of the muscle gains they made during bulking.
However, although some studies are supportive of CLA’s value in this area, there is also plenty of research that is not. When it comes to boosting metabolism and burning fat, CLA is nowhere near as credible as alternative options such as green tea and cayenne.

Unaltered Belly Fat Burner is part of a range of sports supplements distributed by Unaltered Athletics. The company was created by a couple of bodybuilding enthusiasts who appear to be father and son.
The Unaltered Athletics website says the pair are both pro-natural athletes and certified personal trainers. It also says they are serial entrepreneurs with over 30 years of experience in the fitness industry.
That’s interesting, but who are they? The site neglects to say.
The LinkedIn website is a little more helpful. The Unaltered Athletic profile page provides details of three staff members.
One of them is called Zachary Munoz. The Unaltered Athletics website has a picture of him striking a pose.
The other two staff members are men as well. One of them is a certified personal trainer. The other is a content production specialist who specializes in video editing.
As an expert in sports and fitness, Munoz is not without credibility. He is an LA Fitness-certified master trainer with a background in natural bodybuilding and martial arts.
Munoz probably has plenty of experience using supplements but we fail to see how he is qualified to produce them. It seems likely all the products in the Unaltered Athletics range of supplements may be produced by white label supplement manufacturers. If so, there could be numerous identical products distributed under alternative brand names.
We have already found one Unaltered Belly Fat Burner clone. Surprisingly, it is also part of the Unaltered Athletics supplement range. It’s called Slim Tighten Tone and the site makes it appear to be a diet pill for women.
Selling the same pills as two different products? If you think that is a bit naughty, we have to agree.
Unaltered Belly Fat Burner Benefits
According to the official sales page, Unaltered Belly Fat Burner helps people to avoid three things:

The rest of the product information parrots various claims that are made about CLA and makes a big deal of pointing out the pills are caffeine-free.
How to Use Unaltered Belly Fat Burner
The dose is three softgel capsules per day. You take one with each of your main meals of the day ‒ breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
How Unaltered Belly Fat Burner Works
Unaltered Athletics says CLA is an “essential weight loss oil that specifically targets stubborn belly fat.” We say, hogwash. There does not appear to be any scientific evidence to support such a claim.

Three capsules per day provide 2,400 mg (2.4 g) of CLA, sourced from safflower oil. There are no other active ingredients.
Ingredient Potential
CLA is an omega-6 fatty acid. It occurs naturally in certain foods. Dairy products and grass-fed beef are particularly good sources.
Most supplements that provide the ingredient use CLA taken from safflower plants. Unaltered Belly Fat Burner does too.
If you use CLA supplements alongside diet and exercise, you may notice improvements in fat loss. Then again, you may not. Even if you do, the difference is probably only going to be slight. CLA is anything but a power ingredient.
Although there is no shortage of CLA supplements on the market, it’s worth noting this ingredient is not present in any of the top fat-burning supplements. There is probably a good reason for that.
The ingredient’s ability to protect existing muscle mass is also questionable. It’s possible it may be able to do this to some extent but its abilities require further study.

At $30 per bottle (via the manufacturer’s site), Unaltered Belly Fat Burner is overpriced. Twenty-three dollars is more reasonable but it’s still a lot of money for such a simple product.
The fat-burning capabilities of CLA are highly questionable, even if you were paying $10 per bottle, it could still prove to be a waste of money.
Although some customer reviews say this product works well, the allegation the reviewers may have been incentivized casts a shadow of doubt on their credibility so you will probably be better off spending your money elsewhere.
