Summary
In the Arnold group I'm modeling cytochrome P450 enzymes and using crystallography to determine the structure of chimeric P450 enzymes generated by recombining three natural P450 enzymes. The resulting chimera structures will provide a training set for a P450 chimera structure prediction algorithm that should apply to the full combinatoric set of synthetic proteins.
