Summary
My interests are generally in the area of chaperone function and mechanism within a cell. I am currently working with my labmates on molecular dynamics simulations that hope to deduce how chaperonins fold proteins and specifically the role of confined water in this reaction. I am also beginning work where I use a variety of computational and experimental techniques to hope to find small molecule modulators of chaperone activity.
